More recently John worked at Amex, where he helped build out the internal design practice on the UK side, helping champion user centred design. Much of this involved challenging and changing the way that product teams collaborated, thought and ultimately built products that were firmly focused on customer needs.
Previously John has worked at a senior level as Creative Director for the top two Digital Learning companies on the UK, where he transformed both of their internal teams and raised their digital product offerings. By bringing design methodology and thought leadership through regular innovation labs he helped introduce an ideation culture over more formulaic approaches.
